Laurie Driver is a visual artist & designer, exploring themes of personal & national identity, class & consumerism, through the lens of modern day Britain. Their work focuses on language & wordplay, with a tendency for humour as a vehicle for social commentary & discussion. They often employ the visual tropes of advertising for clear & direct communication. Their artworks are often contextually displayed in public, but they have recently shown in exhibitions & galleries such as the Manchester Contemporary, HOME Open, Wesserhalle, Soho House, Seesaw, Paradise Works & Factory International, whilst their work is held in both personal and public collections.
